I Used Cookie Club Last Year
Great! Your Troop Leader will fill you in on any changes for this season. Your Cookie Club account from last year is still good, and if you use it, all your contacts will be there when you log in, too!
If you need or want to start fresh this season, be sure to get your new, current-season username and password from your Parent. Here are some tips for helping your Parent set up your account:
Step 1: Your Leader Has to Set You Up First
Before you can begin setting goals and tracking orders in Cookie Club, your Troop Leader will need to set up the whole troop in a separate program called eBudde (your Leader will know what that is). Wait till you get the word from your Troop Leader that everything is ready to go....
Step 2: Now Your Parent Can Create Your Account
Your parent or guardian can now create a Parent account in Cookie Club. Be sure your Parent uses the same username that your Troop Leader used in eBudde. For example, if eBudde knows you as "Rebecca," you cannot use the name "Becky" in Cookie Club.
Be sure your parent or guardian has signed a Permission Slip to allow you to work in Cookie Club and that you have turned it in to your Troop Leader.
Uh Oh, I Forgot My Password
Cookie Club does not have a password-recovery feature for Girl accounts. But don't worry -- your Parent can log in and retrieve your password for you. If you've already been into Cookie Club this season, but forgot your login information, check with your Parent to get it again. If this is your first time trying to log in with last year's account, have your Parent log in first and get or set your password for you.
My Girl and I Used Cookie Club Last Year
Wonderful -- it's great to have you back! Your Parent account from last year is still active, so you may use the same login. If you've forgotten your password, recover it by using the button below the login fields.
If you use the same account as last year, your Girl's account(s) from last year will also be available, and all her contacts will be there.
If you can't remember what email you used last year, or for some other reason you are not able to use your account from last year, you can create a new account for yourself, then set up a new account for your Girl (if she exported and saved her contacts from last year, she'll be able to import them into her new account).
I am a Parent and a Troop Leader - can I use the same login?
Yes! You may use the same login, but what you see depends on the ROLE you choose from the "I am a:" droplist when you log in. If you choose "Troop Leader", you will see your troop goal settings and reports. If you choose "Parent", you will see any Girl accounts you have set up and can perform all Parent activities.
If you want to use the same login for both, because Troop Leaders log in with their eBudde credentials, you will need to create a Parent account using your Troop Leader/eBudde email and password.
You may also use a different login for your Parent role. (Note: If you used Cookie Club only as a Parent last year, you may want to use that same account this year because Girl accounts under your Parent account from last year can also be used.)
How Do I Set Up My Girl?
In order for your Girl to use Cookie Club, there are two things that must happen first:
- Your Troop Leader must set up the girls in the cookie-management software program known as eBudde.
- If you used Cookie Club last year, and are using the same account this year, you must log in and "reactivate" your Girl's account, using the same username that her Troop Leader gave her in eBudde.
If you are new to Cookie Club, you must register a new Parent account, then set up your Girl, using the same username that her Troop Leader gave her in eBudde, and creating a password for her.
Because your Girl's Cookie Club username must match what her Troop Leader set up in eBudde, it's best to wait until your Troop Leader has given the "go" before trying to set up your Girl in Cookie Club. Example: If your Girl's name is Rebecca Smith in eBudde, it can't be Becky Smith in Cookie Club -- it must be Rebecca Smith in both places.
You will also need to sign and return to the Troop Leader the Parent Permission form for each of your girls who will use Cookie Club. If you don't already have the Parent Permission form, you can download and print one from the new account form page, or from the box on the right on this page.
When registering a new Parent account, you may create your Girl's login at the same time, but only if the Troop Leader has already set up the troop in eBudde. If you are registering your account before the troop has been set up in eBudde, just enter your own information for now. Then come back after the Troop Leader gives the "go" and create your Girl login.
I Forgot My Password
For Parents, Cookie Club has a password-recovery feature that you can access from the login page. Choose your Parent role from the droplist, then click the Forgot Password button. Enter the email address you are registered with and your password will be mailed to you.
My Girl Can't Remember Her Password
You can recover it for her. Log in with your Parent credentials. Click the "My Account" link in the upper right in the header, and you'll see your Girl's login information below your own.
Troop Leaders and Cookie Managers
I Forget My Login from Last Year
Don't worry about having to remember your login from a previous year. All previous logins are cleared out each season. If you are trying to log in now and are having trouble, make note of the error message and follow the link it provides to additional, more specific, help. But be sure to note the following items.
eBudde First, Then Cookie Club
In order to log in to Cookie Club, you must first be set up as a leader in eBudde. Your Cookie Club login is identical to your eBudde login. If you are not familiar with eBudde, or do not know if you are set up in eBudde yet, contact your Council leader for more information.
If you've already been using Cookie Club and just forgot your password, don't worry, you'll be up and running in no time. Cookie Club itself does not have a password-recovery feature (except for Parents), since leader logins are handled through eBudde. If you've forgotten your password, use the password-recovery feature on the eBudde login page then return to Cookie Club and try again.
Help from Your Service Unit
If you have tried your eBudde credentials and are not able to log in, check to make sure you are still able to log in directly to eBudde with the credentials you are trying to use. Go to eBudde now and try it. If you are unable to log in to eBudde, use the password recovery feature there, or check with your Service Unit to make sure you have been set up properly in your Troop. If you CAN get into eBudde, and are still not able to get into Cookie Club, check with your Service Unit to make sure you are set up in eBudde as a Troop Leader or Cookie Manager for the current season.
